This video is from Stockton Fire
This is a good video of an aggressive fire attack on a well involved fire. An 1 3/4 line will put out alot of fire. Notice as they go in they are standing, this allows you to feel your environment and get as low as you need too. Starting off crawling makes you move slower and there could be a bad situation your not assessing. Get low when necessary be aggressive always!!!!

I agree that in this case entering standing up is fine. This is postflashover so there are no surprises in store (like any kind of extreme fire behavior) as long as the roof and cellar structures are not involved, and we'll assume the structure was sized-up correctly and the structure is steady, in which case this is a simple fire. In fact, given that we assume (per Stckton's excellent 360) that the roof is fine, there's no reason not to simultaneously access the roof from the rear and cut a quick hole and draw that fire up.

Of course this is all based on a good size-up.
Now, during the preflashover state, when entering SMOKE, standing up MAY be appropriate after ventialtion. Stay low and let it blow, right? Watch the horizontal or vertical vent take effect, look under the thermal layer, THEN determine if you'll enter standing, crawling, slithering, hopping or whatever--just base it on a thoughful size-up.
I love the comment good thoughts. Size up by firefighters is really important.
